What's on my mind?
I've been thinking about how much we want life to make sense before we actually start living it. We want a perfect career path, which is absolutely fine. But that's not really how life works.
You can only connect the dots looking backwards. Steve Jobs didn't know what his calligraphy class would have to do with Apple when he took it.
You probably don't know what today's application, conversation, skill or random opportunity will mean for you five years from now either. And that's okay.
Clarity may not come before movement, but movement brings clarity. If you're waiting until you have everything figured out before you move, you really have to rethink.
And speaking of moving…
Our Global Career Webinar is tomorrow. If you've been following me for a while, you already know I've been talking about this one.
Seats are filling up fast, so don't wait until tomorrow to decide.
Remember,
You don't always have to see the whole path before you take the next step. Sometimes, you just have to move for the dots to start connecting.
