What's on my mind?
Many people misunderstood what a CV is supposed to do.
You treat it like a storage box where you drop your Degree, Internship, Certificate, Volunteer experience, and then you arrange everything from newest to oldest hoping that the hiring team would figure out why you deserve a chance.
A good CV is not a record of how you used your life.
When you say you led a team, the employer want to see the evidence that you can actually take responsibility, coordinate people and get something done.
And this is where many people get it wrong.
Your CV contain facts, but no connection to where all of it is taking you.
Your past should not just sit on your CV looking impressive, it should be working for your future.
So before you add another certificate or another line to your CV, go back through your past and find the evidence.
Remember,
Your CV is not just a record of the past, but an argument about the future written in evidence from the past.
